Directions:

1. Create a batch of pancake batter.

4. When bubbles stop forming, use a wooden spatula to flip cook on 2nd side until golden.

5. Top with your favorites and enjoy!

Recommended Toppings:

Strawberries and blueberries are the tastiest and prettiest in my opinion, but choose your favorite!

Nuts

Whipped cream

Syrup

Farmer Amy's Notes

This is fun and festive. Who doesn't like mini little bites of deliciousness? However, it is also very time consuming. I recommend this for a lazy day or special occasion. On the Farmstead we are always trying to maximize efficiency and this recipe is many things, but it is not at all efficient!

Most recipes on the internet will tell you to use a zip top bag. Tried it-- that does not work. Neither does a funnel or a knife to "drip" the batter. All of these were tried and failed in my kitchen so you don't have the mess. Take it from me, the truly best way to make these is a squeeze bottle. So pick one up at the store, or save one from a product that doesn't leave a strong smell or lasting odor once the bottle is clean.

To jazz up your normal pancake recipe, I recommend adding 1/2-1 full teaspoon of cinnamon sugar to your batter for about 12 pancakes. This helps them get golden brown and adds just a hint of flavor to make your breakfast cereal truly memorable!
